About me ...
Viktoria regularly participates in national and international workshops and masterclasses:
2017 Allegranza Workshop for Young Strings, Koblenz (led by David Rodriguez); 2016, 2018, and 2022 RemStrings Suzuki Workshops, Remstal (led by Michael Hoover and David Rodriguez); 2019 Frankfurt Suzuki Workshop (led by Masako Sakai-Hersen) with a masterclass with Cezar Salem, Bamberg; and 2022 and 2023 at the International Summer School Interlaken (with performances as soloist and concertmaster in pieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Grieg, and Handel). There she participated in masterclasses with Christian Barenius (MKZ Zurich) and Pavel Fischer (Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester).
Viktoria Aurelia Höck, born in 2011, grew up as the second child of a musically academic family in Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, and attended a linguistic-mathematical grammar school after a shortened primary school period. At the age of four, she began violin lessons using the Suzuki method (Shin'ichi Suzuki 1898-1998) with a private violin teacher (Tanja Kull, violinist, M.Mus.). Since 2022, her solo studies have been further supported by a master's student at the Munich University of Music through a private foundation. In 2023, she attended masterclasses with Prof. Linus Roth at the Leopold Mozart College of the University of Augsburg, passed the entrance examination for violin there in summer 2023, and has been a junior violin student with Prof. Linus Roth since fall 2023. In the winter semester of 2024/2025, she received additional solo instruction from Prof. Zohrab Tadevosyan (Madrid) at the Leopold Mozart College of the University of Augsburg.
Since September 2021, she has been a scholarship holder of the Albert Eckstein Foundation, where she is supported by a fine violin made by Hannibal Fagnola from Turin (1911).
Viktoria also plays the piano and sings. In her free time, she enjoys literature and swimming. She is enrolled in Bavaria's Gifted Student Program and the CyberMentor program for STEM subjects (University of Regensburg/Excellence Research at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg), and was nominated for the 2025 Bavarian Talent Seminar for outstanding achievements.
